For a chiffon or georgette saree, the look can be lighter and more modern. The draping style is part of the overall look, and I handle that too.
Party makeup with lehenga: Lehengas are festive and bold, so the makeup can match that energy. Slightly more shimmer, more defined eyes, and a stronger lip. The dupatta draping completes the look, and I style it based on the event and your preference.
Party makeup with black dress or gown: A black outfit gives you the most freedom with makeup. You can go bold with a red lip and minimal eyes, or dramatic with a smoky eye and nude lip. I recommend based on the event and what you’re comfortable with.
Party makeup with maroon, red, or wine outfit: Deep-coloured outfits look stunning with warm bronze eyes, a subtle gold shimmer, and a lip that either matches the outfit tone or contrasts with a nude. I avoid cool-toned eye makeup with warm outfits because they can clash.

Smoky eye: For evening events and cocktail parties. I build depth with dark tones and blend outward for a sultry effect. A smoky eye photographs beautifully under warm party lighting.
Shimmer or glitter eye: For festive occasions like Diwali parties, New Year’s Eve, or sangeet-style celebrations. Gold, copper, or champagne shimmer packed on the lid catches every light in the room.
Subtle defined eye: For daytime events or when you want the lip to be the statement. Clean liner, groomed brows, a hint of shimmer, and natural lashes. Understated but polished.
Party Makeup and Hairstyle
The hairstyle is included with every party booking because the hair and makeup need to work together as one look. Here’s what I typically recommend:
For sarees: a polished bun with a decorative pin, soft curls with the pallu draped elegantly, or a low chignon with volume at the crown. If you’re wearing flowers, I set them as part of the hairstyle.

I plan the hair based on your outfit type: buns and chignons for sarees, loose curls or braided styles for lehengas, blowouts or waves for gowns. Everything is part of one coordinated look.
Will the makeup last through the whole party?
Yes. I use long-wear foundations, waterproof eye products, and a professional setting spray. The look is built for 6 to 8 hours of an event including eating, drinking, dancing, and socialising. For events where you’ll be dancing or sweating, I use the same sweat-proof products as my sangeet bookings.
Can I book party makeup for a group?
Yes. If multiple people need makeup for the same event (sisters, friends, family), I can do back-to-back looks at a single location. Each person gets a full look at ₹14,000. I stagger the timing so everyone is ready before the event. Let me know the number of people when booking.
