I keep the base light and breathable. No heavy, full-coverage foundation unless you specifically want it. I use a hydrating tinted moisturiser or a light foundation that lets your skin breathe. If you’re experiencing pregnancy glow (that natural luminosity many women get), I work with it rather than covering it up.
For the eyes, I go with soft, warm tones. Gold shimmer, peach, rose, or champagne on the lids. Nothing heavy or dramatic unless you want it. The lip is usually a soft pink, rose, or nude that complements the outfit colour.

I use hypoallergenic products wherever possible, especially on the lips (since you’ll be eating and drinking). The lip products I use are from brands like Charlotte Tilbury, Rare Beauty, and Huda Beauty that are well-formulated and gentle.
If you have specific product concerns or allergies that have developed during pregnancy (this is common), let me know before the session and I’ll adjust my kit accordingly.
Comfort During the Session
I know that sitting in one position for a long time can be uncomfortable when you’re pregnant. I keep the session efficient and comfortable. The full look (makeup + hair + draping) takes about 45 minutes to an hour. I set up so you can sit in a comfortable chair with back support, and I take breaks if you need them.
For draping, I work with whatever outfit is most comfortable for you. Most godh bharai ceremonies in Navi Mumbai have the mom-to-be in a saree, but if you prefer a gown, a lehenga, or any other outfit, I drape accordingly. The priority is that you can sit, stand, and move comfortably throughout the event.

Can you also do makeup for the maternity photoshoot?
Yes. Many moms-to-be book a maternity shoot look alongside the baby shower. The two looks are usually different: the baby shower is event-ready with saree draping, while the maternity shoot is more creative and camera-focused. I can do both on the same day or on separate days.
