I plan my kit and my day around your muhurat, whether that means a 5 AM start for morning pheras or a late evening reception in Vashi.
Every ceremony has its own mood, and the makeup should match it. Haldi calls for light, fresh, waterproof makeup that survives turmeric and laughter. Mehendi is relaxed and colourful, something comfortable enough to sit through hours of henna. Sangeet needs a bold, durable look that can handle dancing under hot lights. For South Indian brides, Kanjeevaram draping with jasmine in the hair. Muslim brides get elegant hijab or dupatta setting for nikah and walima, and my Christian brides get that soft, timeless look that photographs beautifully against a white gown and veil.
